Ooooooo!
That little punk Christopher doesn't have HIS own website. Way Cool! (And he'd have to pay for it now since somebody already registered 'chrisvatalaro.com')
I want to formally second the motion for a Charlie V Christmas album. Perhaps you can steal - oops, I mean 'borrow' -something from the ESYO Melodies gang.
By the way, how's that digital Tight Squeeze project coming along?
See ya!

Hey Charlie-
Just checking in to say Hi !
Hey look I'm playing w/ a great bunch of guys and was curious if you're still "freelancing", or are you primarily w/ Ernie Williams? We are sometimes looking for a sub on Sax. A few weeks ago we had Scott Andrews filling in w/ us. The name of the band is Soul Provider -- 8pc R&B band. Just played last weekend at Daisy Baker's in Troy and the gig went great! We're back there April 19th. Our horn section is usually Fred Young on Trumpet & Bill Hoeprich on Trombone, but have played with Scott on Sax and Kevin Hendrick on Trumpet. Send me an email if ya get a chance. Hope all is well with you.

Charlie, As always, nothing but the best. I always loved that high A over Kit's vocals, but now you've outdone that....Best wishes

I knew (and gigged with) Charlie when we were both at Ft Devens (1967-69); a class act and peach of a guy even then (but there was a LOT less of him). Charlie, I note that Johnny Laporta passed away a few years ago; I knew Mr LaPorta from both the Berkeley clinics we did in the Army, and from the very first (1958) IU Kenton Clinics @ Bloomington. I was was of the youngest young musicians there and got to experience Mr Laporta's formidable stageband clinician skills first hand at age 14. Thanks for sharing your site, and for the memories, old friend. Bob>

Congratulations Charlie. The web site is fabulous. It’s too bad it can't capture the shear joy of music and incredible performance that you are on stage. - Gary Siegel - theKIXband
